Serve on every committee EXCEPT nominating committee

Work closely with the president on activities
Perform president duties in their absence
Establish Fundraising activities and committees and serves on them

Recording Secretary
Keep the minutes of all meetings
Keep the official bylaws in his/her files
Maintain a membership list in accordance with VA PTA

Corresponding Secretary
Prepare all correspondence and maintains all files
Publish meeting minutes
Other duties as assigned
Treasurer
Have custody of all funds and finances
Keep accurate account of receipts and expenditures
Make disbursements as authorized in accordance with the adopted budget
Prepare and have checks signed
Present a written financial statement at each meeting
Prepare an end of year financial report
Prepare for audit and coordinate
Submit year end audit report to VA PTA
Submit Tax forms in a timely manner
Submit dues in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned

We’ve already put PTA funds to good use to ensure our teachers and staff feel loved with the amazing Back to School Luncheon we provided last Tuesday. We also have a “Happy 1st Day of School” treat waiting for them in their mailboxes. Shhhhh! One key to keeping a school staff happy…chocolate! We met so many new faces at the PTA table at the Back to School Fair. Thank you so much for your support through membership and spirit wear sales. Love showing off our Lion Pride! We have so many plans in the works and can’t wait to share them with you! Be on the lookout for volunteer opportunities!
